Security services are shaped by location, timing, responsibilities, and the needs of a particular site. A useful platform has to make that context understandable before it can make the booking convenient.

FindASecurityGuard is our specialist security-services marketplace venture. It demonstrates how a public discovery experience can connect to booking and operational tools, without treating the service as an interchangeable commodity.

The opportunity: make a complex service easier to arrange

Clients need a clear way to discover a provider, understand the offer, and describe the work. Providers need a practical way to present their services and manage the bookings they accept. The marketplace has to support both without blurring their responsibilities.

We designed discovery and profile surfaces to establish context before the transaction. The interface creates room for a specialist service model: the requirements of a venue, property, or assignment can influence what should happen next.

Connect the booking to provider operations

The agenda and business tools give the provider a structured view of work and offerings. These are functional surfaces designed for repeated use, with mobile layouts that keep the next action close to the relevant information.

Operational policy remains important. Licensing, verification, suitability, insurance, staffing, and incident handling must be defined by the operator and relevant specialists. The product needs to support those controls; this showcase does not claim that the interface itself provides regulatory compliance or guarantees a provider's suitability.

Keep the assignment's context visible

Property-context and package-booking screens demonstrate how information can follow the customer through the journey. The product approach is to reduce the distance between what a client is arranging and what a provider needs to understand.

A future implementation could require organisation-level approvals, site-specific requirements, or integration with existing workforce systems. Those are discovery questions, not features we assume every operator needs. A clear domain model provides a foundation for answering them.

A platform with explicit boundaries

The application combines Orchard Core for identity and content with dedicated marketplace workflows built on ASP.NET Core, Blazor, PostgreSQL, and Stripe Connect. Shared components support web and MAUI hybrid application foundations.

A role-aware platform must keep client and provider data appropriately scoped. Booking state, payment events, and participant permissions need explicit rules. Those concerns are central to the build, even when the interface makes the experience look straightforward.

What this demonstrates

FindASecurityGuard shows how a specialist service marketplace can connect acquisition, context, transactions, and operations. The value of custom software lies in fitting that chain to the business rather than forcing the business into a generic checkout.

If you are building a workforce marketplace or modernising the way a service company receives and manages bookings, we can help define the operating model and the first useful release. Discuss your specialist platform.

Questions about a similar platform

Does the showcase guarantee licensing or regulatory compliance?

No. Verification and compliance requirements must be established for the service, geography, and operator. This case study describes software and interface design.

Can this be adapted for an existing security business?

Yes. Discovery would establish your customer types, sites, staffing model, approval processes, and existing systems before defining the product scope.
